THE KNIGHT OF IADDASH

Welcome to Gezentine:

A new book from the mind of K.A. Bechtel has hit the press! It is, The Knight of Iaddash!

The Knight of Iaddash is a fantasy fiction book filled with adventure, prophecy and quieter moments that delve into themes of friendship and faith.

The book's cover, stunningly illustrated by Veronica Verratti, features the main character Kahsa and his green misted sword. A sword he is destined to wield against his old master, Agar.

The cover for The Knight of Iaddash featuring Kahsa, wearing blue and red armor, and wielding a sword which emanates a mystical green mist.
Here's the Blurb:

Kahsa hates dictators, especially the one he had sworn his life to. Forcefully brought up as a solider and reduced to a mere guardsman, Kahsa wants nothing more than to leave his old life behind and find freedom far from the endless gaze of his ruthless master, Agar.

Deciding to run, Kahsa finds himself in the Glorybud Forest at the center of a prophecy given by a God he does not know. Will this God-Iaddash-be Kahsa's ticket to freedom, or just another master to rule his life?

The only way for him to find out is to pick up the sword!

Where do I buy it?

Would I like this story?

Quite Possibly!

The Knight of Iaddash is a faith-centered novel that is aimed at young adults but is fun for anyone with a love for fantasy. Sitting at 130 pages, it makes for a great weekend read that is filled with action, enjoyable characters, and faith-filled themes.

The themes in this book are distinctly christian, considering that is my faith. If that appeals to you, then I think you’d really like what this book offers. I also had a lot of fun playing around with classic fantasy tropes! This book features a magic sword, and evil wizard, and a mystical entity that is beyond human. If you like that kind of stuff, you’ll probably get a kick out of this story!

A Note from the Author:

I have been working on The Knight of Iaddash for over six years now and I finally get to share it with the world! This story first came to my mind while doodling a Knight with cool looking armor in High School. Soon after I drew more pictures of him and added him a prophet friend and a cute little dragon. I continued to draft the story all the way up until college, where after a few minor attempts, I finally dove head first into writing The Knight of Iaddash and turned it into a story that I am truly proud of! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed writing it!
